Harringtons social media competition November 2023

  1. This Promotion is only open to residents of the UK who are aged 18 or over. So that we are completely fair, employees of Inspired Pet Nutrition, and anyone else professionally connected to this Promotion, are not allowed to enter.  
  2. You don’t have to buy anything to participate in this Promotion, but you need a valid Instagram or Facebook account and access to the internet.  
  3. Promoter: Harringtons, Inspired Pet Nutrition Limited, Dalton Airfield, Topcliffe, Thirsk, YO7 3HE. Registered in England & Wales, company no. 2495237 • VAT no. 927 1515 28 
  4. Promotion Period: Participants must enter between noon 12:00 GMT on the 15th November 2023 and 23:59 GMT on the 30th November 2023. 
  5. To enter, you must like the competition post, follow/like Harringtons’ Instagram or Facebook profile, and tag another Instagram/Facebook user in the comments. 
  6. You may enter up to five (5) times during the Promotion Period, but you may only win one (1) Prize.  
  7. The Prize: One (1) winner will win a bundle of the superfoods range consisting of two (2) 1.7KG bags of each flavour – Harringtons Superfoods Grain Free Dry Adult Dog Food Chicken & Sweet Potato, Harringtons Superfoods Grain Free Dry Adult Dog Food Turkey & Sweet Potato and Harringtons Superfoods Grain Free Dry Adult Dog Food Salmon & Sweet Potato. 
  8. The winner will be selected from a random draw, carried out by an independent party, within five (5) working days of the end of the Promotion Period.  
  9. The winner will be contacted via a reply to the winning comment within five (5) working days of the draw. The winner must share their address with Harringtons via Facebook or Instagram DM to claim the Prize within three (3) working days. If the winner does not contact Harringtons, the Prize will be awarded to a reserve winner. A total of three (3) reserves will be contacted. In the event that no reserve responds to communications, we at Harringtons reserve the right to not award the Prize.  
  10. We cannot accept any entries that we believe:
    1. Contain any content that is likely to be considered offensive by us or could reflect negatively the name, reputation, or goodwill of Harringtons or any of its partners;  
    2. Defames, misrepresents, or insult other people or companies including, but not limited to, Harringtons (including its partners); and/or  
    3. Promotes any political agenda.  
  11. Please allow up to twenty-eight (28) days from the date of confirmation of delivery details for delivery of your Prize.  
  12. The Prize cannot be transferred to someone else or exchanged for something else or a cash or other alternative.  
  13. If, for reasons out of our control, the Prize is no longer available, you will be offered an alternative of equal or greater value than the Prize.  
  14. Data Privacy: Your personal data will be held in accordance with all relevant data protection legislation currently in force. We will only use your personal data for the administration of this Promotion and for no other purpose unless we have your consent. We will only share your data with our Fulfilment Partners for the purposes of and to fulfil this Promotion.  
  15. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups, syndicates or third parties will not be accepted. We will not accept cheating in any form, including the use of macros or other automated means of entry, masking your identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than your own and any other behaviour that falls outside the spirit of the Promotion. If you’re found to be cheating, you will be excluded.  
  16. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram or Facebook. You are providing your information to Harringtons and not to Instagram or Facebook.  
  17. If you suffer any loss or damage that arises out of or in connection with the Promotion or Prize itself (whether in contract, tort (including (without limitation) negligence), statutory duty or otherwise) Harringtons won’t be liable for this.  
  18. If this Promotion can’t run properly because of fraud, tampering, technical errors, or anything else that is beyond our control which affects the running, administration, security, or fairness of this Promotion, we reserve the right to disqualify any person involved. We also reserve the right to cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion.  
  19. By entering, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.  
  20. If this Promotion is tampered with in some way whether by fraud, technical failures, system errors or other issues, including any such failure within the control of Harringtons or its agencies, Harringtons and its agencies will not be responsible for the Promotion, prize or for the non-inclusion of entries. Proof of submission of entry is not proof of receipt of entry.  
  21. In the event of any dispute, the Promoter’s decision is final.  
  22. The winners may be required to participate in any reasonable publicity arising from the Promotion.  
  23. If you are a winner of the Promotion, you agree that the Promoter will use your name to announce the winners of this Promotion and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes.  
  24. The winner’s name may be published on the Harringtons Facebook and Instagram page / story within three (3) working days of winner acceptance.  
  25. These Terms and Conditions are governed by English Law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
