Delivery Charges

Our delivery charges depend on your location, the type of order (one-off or subscription) and your spend total.

While our delivery charges are the same for most of the UK, in some locations it may be higher due to our delivery partners charging us more for service to those postcodes.

See below for a guide on our delivery charges. The delivery charge for your order will be confirmed once you have entered your full shipping address details in the checkout, before any payment is taken.

* Orders placed by 12 noon on a working day (Mon-Fri excl. bank holidays) are usually packed and dispatched same-day for delivery the next working day, orders placed after this time will be despatched the following working day. We do not dispatch orders on weekends or bank holidays, any orders placed then will be dispatched the next working day.

Some parts of the UK may take 1-2 days longer for our delivery partners to reach. Please note that during times of unpredictable high demand (such as due to lockdown/COVID-19 restrictions), orders may take a little longer to get to you and this will be communicated during checkout and by email where possible.

How our delivery service works - dispatch & delivery process

1. Order placed

1. Order placed

Before placing your order, enter any delivery instructions you have in the basket (e.g. where to leave your parcel if you're not in). Proceed to checkout and enter your shipping address to see confirmation of the delivery method(s) and charge to your address, before taking payment and completing the order.

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from us showing the item(s) in your order, your billing address and delivery address.

2. Order picked & packed

Your order information will be passed to our picking & packing team at Harringtons HQ over in Thirsk, North Yorkshire, where your order will be packaged up and labelled, ready to hand over to our delivery partner.

We pick, pack & dispatch orders on weekdays (Mon-Fri) excluding bank holidays and weekends. If your order is placed by 12PM (midday) it will normally be dispatched later the same-day. During exceptionally busy periods or if your order is placed outside of our normal dispatch time, we will pick & pack it the following working-day.

3. Order collected by delivery partner

Your order will be collected from Harringtons by one of our delivery partners (DHL, Yodel or DPD).

You will receive an email from Harringtons to let you know your order is on it's way, and providing you with a tracking code for your delivery. Please note: deliveries may not be fully trackable until they reach the local delivery depot in the next step.

4. Order arrives at local delivery depot

Your order will arrive at a local delivery depot where it is sorted onto a van for delivery. By this point, your order should be fully trackable using your order information on our website or your tracking code or on the delivery partner's website.

5. Order out for delivery

You will receive an email from Harringtons to let you know your order is out for delivery.

You will also receive an email or txt from the delivery partner advising an estimated time for arrival, this email will contain links to specify your delivery preferences and receive more detailed tracking information on the delivery partner's website.

6. Order arrives at your address

You will receive an email from Harringtons to let you know your order has been delivered. You may also receive an email or txt from the delivery partner notifying you that your parcel has been delivered, with details of who signed for it and/or a photo of where the item was left.

Our delivery partners operate a "leave safe" service and do not require a signature on delivery, so they can leave your parcel in a safe place or with a neighbour if you're not in when it arrives.
