Harringtons' Best Dog Friendly Bed and Breakfasts Competition

Harringtons’ Best Dog Friendly Bed and Breakfasts Competition

At Harringtons we’re big fans of getting out into nature with your four-legged companion to take in the sights of the great outdoors. Fresh air, muddy paws, and a camera roll full of scenic snaps with your dog – what could be better? How about making a trip of it! Travelling when you’ve got pets can sometimes be tricky, especially if you can’t bear to leave your furry friend behind. This is where a dog friendly bed and breakfast can be a great solution! Often quaint, with enthusiastic and pet-loving owners, these establishments are the perfect start to a mini weekend adventure with your dog.

We’re on the hunt for the best dog friendly B&Bs across the UK, and are asking our Facebook fans to help us. Plus, we’re giving away a 2 night stay in a B&B as a prize to say thanks! To enter, head over to the Harringtons Facebook page and leave your suggestion for a pet-friendly B&B you’ve stayed in or heard good things about.

Once we’ve gathered up all your suggestions we’ll add them to our Best Views Are For Sharing Map – so not only will you be able to browse the most picturesque views the UK has to offer, you’ll be able to pick from the friendliest places to rest your feet (and their paws) after a trip to take in the scenery.

For now, here are some suggestions of places to stay from the Harringtons team…

1. Meadowcroft Guest House: Situated in the heart of the Lake district, this family run bed and breakfast overlooks the picturesque hills of Windemere and is the perfect location for country walking with your pooch.

2. Number Ten London Street: A stunning, Georgian terraced house in Edinburgh’s New Town, this Bed and Breakfast is full of great period features and immediately makes canines feel right at home.

3. The Linen Shed: This Bed and Breakfast near Faversham in Kent has a pretty garden and beautfiul vintage interiors, and the owners are just as welcoming to dogs as they are to humans.

What’s your favourite dog friendly B&B? Let us know on the Harringtons Facebook page to enter the competition!
