Make sure your dog has the best place to sleep with the new Harringtons x Danish Design pet bed. Available exclusively on our website with limited availability.

In collaboration with Danish Design, Harringtons have created a dog bed that not only looks great and is comfy but also has a positive impact on our natural environment, people, and local communities.

Size Guide

Available in 2 different sizes (24” and 30”), they are perfect for a variety of pooches. You are currently viewing the small size, for the medium bed click here

The dimensions are taken from the widest point on the outside base of the bed. The interior of the bed will be slightly less than the measurements because of the significantly padded base and sides. If replacing an existing bed, turn it upside down and measure it at its widest point and allow additional room for the padding.

Size Inches Breed (Guide only)
Small 24 terriers, miniature schnauzers
Medium 30 spaniels, beagles

The breed size is a guide only. Each dog prefers a different style bed with some preferring a snug cosy fit and others enjoying a bigger bed that allows them to stretch out - please consider this when selecting your size and measure.

Sustainability

  • Printed on 100% cotton sourced through The Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) which helps farmers to grow cotton in a way that reduces stress on the local environment and improves the welfare of farming communities.

  • Made in the UK, the whole collection is filled with 100% recycled fibre, made from plastic bottles. As an example of just how many bottles, the filling inside the middle-sized bed would equate to approximately 70 recycled plastic bottles!

Help & Advice

FAQ

What is the difference between small dog food and another adult food except for the size of the kibbles?

Small dogs can benefit from extra protein in their diet, which the small breed dog food gives them.

What are the phosphorous levels of your dry foods?

We do not measure phosphorous levels in our foods. If your dog requires a low/high phosphorous
level on advice from your vet, you will need a specialist food. Your vet should be able to advise you.

When do you change a puppy from puppy food to adult food?

The point at when you change over from puppy to adult food is a personal choice. General advice is to begin to make the change once your puppy is around three-quarters expected adult size and
many people choose to do so at some point between 9 and 18 months.

The main difference between our puppy and adult varieties is that puppy contains higher levels of protein to assist with the high growth rate associated with that life stage. Our adult varieties are suitable to feed from the age of 8 weeks, although when feeding an adult variety to a growing puppy we do advise that you feed according to your puppy's appetite. This ensures they grow at the correct rate and consume enough nutrients to support this.

Do you make a food for a diabetic dog?

We do not add sugar to our Harringtons dog food but there are natural sugars present in the
ingredients. Usually complex carbohydrates such as those found in whole grain are best as these are broken down in the digestive system slowly and so avoid peaks and troughs in the sugar levels in the body. In most of our foods we do use whole grain wheat and/or maize which take longer to digest. We therefore do not recommend grain free food for diabetic dogs.

It is often a good idea to feed your dog small portions of food more often as this will also help to keep sugar levels stable.
